Europe (London, England / Cardiff, Wales) May 2014

Total expenses incurred (2 days): Pound 50.38

Hostel (1 night): Bunkhouse - Pound 14.78 (dorm) :
Bus : London > Cardiff > London - Pound 32.90
Food & groceries : Pound 2.70

I had visited London, Stonehenge (England) & Edinburgh (Scotland) in my earlier trips. So for this visit, I had placed Cardiff (Wales), Dublin (Ireland) & Belfast (North Ireland) in my travel plan. London was merely a stopover to these 3 cities.

I used Eurolines Bus Pass for my trip from London (Victoria Station) to Dublin & return. As for London to Cardiff, I booked the tickets online from the website. I used the vending machines to buy a return bus ticket from Dublin to Belfast.

As my hostel is located in St Mary street, this allowed me to visit the Cardiff Castle, Queens Street, Cardiff Train Station and a few old churches. Due to time constraints, I was not able to visit the Cardiff Bay. But I had a quick glimpse of the New Port when our bus made a stopover before heading to Cardiff city center.
