Estacion de Sants, Barcelona has regular bus services to La Vella (travelling time 3hrs) , the capital of Andorra with a population of around 85,000. La Vella is located at 1,023m above sea level. Tourism is a major industry here and tourists flocked to Andorra for skiing during the winter months.
It was a low season when I visited La Vella so the town was quiet. I stayed overnight and indeed enjoyed my time admiring the countryside & the surrounding environment in La Vella.
