Travel Highlights:

1) Bukit Ampang Lookout Point, Jalan Mulia 2/1, (Taman Mulia Jaya) Ampang, Selangor (10.00) - scenic lookout, a great spot to enjoy a panoramic & magnificent view of Kuala Lumpur city; due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bukit Ampang Lookout Point original site was closed to the public, but our group was able to find a spot besides a road kerb near a hillside in order to get a good view of Kuala Lumpur city, a beautiful day, clear blue sky, surrounding greeneries, my 1st visit to Bukit Ampang Lookout Point !

2) Veg Fish Farm Thai Restaurant, Km4, Jalan Hulu Langat, Ampang, Selangor (10.30) - not far (approx 2-3km) from the Bukit Ampang Lookout Point, my 1st time visit, lush cooling forest setting, operating hours 11.00 > 22.00, nice ambience, grow their own vegetable & fish, serving over 100 Thai-style dishes, fresh seafood, normally packed during the weekends & public holidays, a big thank you to Thompson who guided us to this restaurant in Bukit Ampang in the middle of nowhere  !

3) Taman Muda Food Street, Jalan Bunga Tanjong 10, Taman Seraya, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur -  a well known food street in Kuala Lumpur, a number of eatery stalls have yet to resume business but customers are gradually returning so their glorious days are not far from now, a great place for gluttons & foodies, take your time to "sample" the various hawker style food in this food street, day or night !

4) Taman Muda Town Center, Morning Market & Hawker Stalls, Medan Selera Putra Food Court, Ampang, Selangor

5) Paragon Point Shopping Center, 26, Jalan Bunga Tanjung 8, Taman Putra, Ampang, Selangor

6) Medan Selera Putra Food Court, Jalan Banga Tanjung 8b, Taman Seraya, Kuala Lumpur

7) Restoran Yulek Wan Tan Mee, 19, Lorong Durian, Taman Cheras, Kuala Lumpur - unfortunately no dine-in since the Movement Control Order (MCO) in mid-2020, so customers have to pick a number & queue up for takeways (tao bao) in this famous char siew (roasted pork) wan tan noodle shop, waiting time is approx 30 minutes, tao bao 3 packets of  wan tan noodles (large portion Rm10 = US$2.35, a treat from KM) as our "picnic" lunch in a cool resting area at the foot of the Ketumbar Hill (not far from Yulek Heights) with some monkeys loitering around the area, KF also bought a pack of prawn fritters & Thompson, a pack of mini egg tarts & drinking water - a simple & no frill meal for this "beautiful" friendship outing !

8) Kui Lum Noodle House, 24, Lorong Lobak, Taman Cheras, Kuala Lumpur - no luck for us to savour a bowl of famous pork noodle soup as this restaurant was closed at the time of our visit to Yulek Heights - KIV for our next visit to Cheras !

9) Ketumbar Hill is a 2.1 km moderately trafficked loop trail located near Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, the trail is primarily used for hiking, walking & nature trips for young & old & is accessible all year round - our group picnic lunch in the cool Ketumbar Hill, fresh, cool air, greeneries, monkeys loitering around, watching trekkers walking up the hill even during the mid-afternoon (12.30) !
