Little India, Brickfields
NU Sentral Shopping Center - Malaysia Day Decor
Berjaya Time Square - Malaysia Day Decor

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia Day Decor

continued from Part 1 - Kuala Lumpur City Center Visit

1) Little India, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur (10.30>10.45) - just a casual early morning walk to get a feel of this popular tourist place nicknamed Little India before taking a Monorel train ride from KL Sentral > Hang Tuah station to visit Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport, a new shopping mall in the Bukit Bintang city center but yet to open to the public !

2) NU Sentral Shopping Center, Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur (09.45>10.15) - located next to KL Sentral, a 8 storey trendy mall with large green rooftops & a multitude of entertainment spaces & alfresco dining, hope by mid-day, more shoppers will show up in this mall to view the Malaysia Day & National Flower theme decor in the central court area !

3) Berjaya Times Square, Jalan Imbi, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur (11.00>11.30) - a 48 storey, 203m twin tower, hotel, condominium, indoor amusement park & shopping centre complex in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. It was opened in Oct 2003 by the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia; fewer people, family shopping lacking, less people dine-in in food court .... waiting for the Good Old Days to return but shoppers will have to adopt a "New Normal" shopping lifestyle .... embrace for change or else you will have to coop up at your home for better days to come !

4) Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur (11.30>12.00) - a premier & award winning shopping center in the Bukit Bintang District in Kuala Lumpur, retail business has yet to return to normalcy as fewer crowd was seen at the mall, hope more weekend shoppers, fully vaccinated will show up at Pavilion KL in the weeks ahead !

5) Bukit Bintang, shopping & entertainment district, Kuala Lumpur - fewer people on the roads, light traffic, half empty shopping malls despite a Sunday weekend, breathing fresh air has become a luxury, no thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic !
