It took me years to decide before visiting Dubai
 My dear Dubai ! At last my Dubai Dream fulfilled ! 

Day 1 - Monday 08 January 2018 - the start of my 14 days free & easy visit from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai via Singapore ! The best is yet to come ! 


1) Rapid KL LRT train from Subang Jaya home > KL Sentral - Rm2.10 (seniors)


2) Flight details: 

KLIA Terminal M > Singapore Terminal 2 (12.00 > 13.00)
Singapore Terminal 3 > Dubai Terminal 1 (15.05 > 18.45)

Airport Shuttle Bus from KL Sentral to KLIA International Airport, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - bus ticket Rm8.00 (US$2) for seniors


3) KLIA International Airport, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia


4) Check in counter - SILK Air, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines


5) International Departure - Kuala Lumpur > Singapore (transit to Dubai)


6) Departure Lounge (KLIA Airport) & boarding the SILK Air to Changi Airport, Singapore (12.00>13.00)


7) Arrival at Changi Airport (Terminal 2) - fast & efficient & all transit passengers were well guided to Terminal 3 for their international flights - so no worry you are in capable hands at the Singapore airport, highly professional, you will not miss your connecting flight so just relax and hum your favorite Cliff Richard's Summer Holiday song as you are now on vacation to Dubai ! My dear KM !

13) Arrival at Dubai International Airport - no visa is required for Malaysians visiting United Arab Emirates just normal passport stamping ! Change some local currencies (after your exit from the Immigration counter) for your Metro ride to Dubai city center - reliable & efficient !


14) Taking a Metro (red line) from Dubai Airport Terminal 1 to my hostel in Dubai Internet City station - Metro single ticket from airport to Dubai Internet City station - 8.50dhm 


15) Hostel check in (20.30) - Backpacker 16 Hostel, Barsha Heights (Tecom), Capitol Tower, No 16-03, Dubai - dorm bed AED58 per night (breakfast included), well equipped with full kitchen facilities, washing machine, refrigerator, washroom etc.
