Day 22 & 23 Tuesday & Wednesday 1-2/10/2019 - My 3 days 2 nights stay in Pelling, Sikkim; 2nd Oct 2019 is the 150 year birth anniversary of Mahatma Ghandi, this coincides with the 2nd day of our visit to Pelling in Sikkim.

" Pelling (7,200ft) is a small town (a base for trekkers) in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills pf Mt Khangchendzonga. The late 17th century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. Pemayangtse Monastery features wall paintings, sculptures & a gold plated statute of Guru Padsambhaya. Overlooking a valley, the 17th century Rabdentse Palace, now in ruins still has evidence of the King's bedroom & kitchen. "
