1) Tagong is a small quint town with a strong Tibetan Buddhist culture, half way between Kangding & Litang.
2) I joined a private day tour from my hostel in Kangding and visited the scenic Tagong grasslands & Xinduqiao. The tour took us to the Danba view point (4,298m), a monastery, Tagong town centre, passing the Kangding airport & the vast country side of Xinduqiao planted with large acreage of highland barley.The highland barley wine is a favorite drink for the locals.
