" My Cuti Cuti (Vacation) Malaysia & Staycation No 1 (Transition to Endemic Phase) free & easy visit together with my travel buddies, KF Wong & Thompson Tham (a big thank you to both for volunteer to drive & navigate) to Raub, Kuala Lipis, Jerantut, Mentakab, Temerloh, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan Kuala Rompin (Pahang) & Endau (Johor) & return from Monday > Friday April 11 > 15 2022, travelling by my own vehicle (self drive) from SS17, Subang Jaya, my 34th outdoor trip after a National Lockdown (Movement Control Order / Emergency) imposed by the Malaysian Government on May 6 2021 due to a spike in Covid-19 cases; a National Vaccination campaign is currently being implemented by the Malaysian Government (Phase 1 started in Feb 2021), as at Feb 5 2022 a total of  22.9 million individuals or 97.9% of the adult population in Malaysia have completed their Covid-19 vaccinations; Malaysia is now under the Transition to Endemic Phase starting from April 1 2022, an exit strategy that would allow Malaysians to return to near-normal life after nearly 2 years of battling the pandemic "

My Good Old Days - my solo free & easy visit to Tianmen Mountain or Heaven's Gate Mountain, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, China; 999 steps to Heaven Door, a 30 meters wide cave like a water-eroded hole between 2 peaks (the highest hole of its sort in the world), hard & tiresome climb (I was then 60 years old) - what a big challenge ! When the going gets tough, the tough get going especially if the steps are narrow, wet & slippery when drizzling ! (Sept 2010)
