13) Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn) - entrance fee 50bht, the main temple is ender renovation, my last visit was in Jan 2016 so I just loitered around the outside of the Wat compounds & explore the surrounding area





14) Ancestor Hall of Phraya Taksin, a half Chinese half Thai general who made himself King in 1769, ruling from the new capital of Thonburi on the banks of the Mae Nam Chao Phraya, opposite Bangkok. This site is located next to Wat Arun.
