" My Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) Chinese New Year Day 4 visit with my brother Weng & sister  Mei (a car driven by my brother) from Subang Jaya (my home place) to Kuala Kubu Bahru, Selangor & Fraser Hill, Pahang on Tuesday Jan 28 2020 (07.00>17.30) - my last visit to Fraser's Hill was 20 years ago " 

Travel itinerary: Subang Jaya (my home place) > Rawang bypass > Kuala Kubu Bharu > Sungai Selangor Dam > Fraser Hill > Kuala Kubu Bharu > Subang Jaya (130km one way) 

- Subang Jaya > Kuala Kubu Bharu = 80km

- Kuala Kubu Bharu > Fraser Hill = 40km

1) Sungai Selangor Dam - provides water supply to the state of Selangor & Federal Territory; picturesque & a great place for photo shooting ! 

2) Historic landmarks in Kuala Kubu Bharu - 1) King George VI Commemorate Clock Tower; 2) Hulu Selangor Traffice Police Headquarters; 3) Hulu Selangor District / Land Office

3) Kuala Kubu Bharu - the district capital of Hulu Selangor District, Selangor; built after Kuala Kubu faced severe flooding & was completely destroyed in 1883; ideal for a short stopover for refreshments & meals before continuing your journey to Fraser Hill or Tanjong Malim & Ipoh !
