In my early years of working (50 years ago ie 1969-1970), I stayed in Ampang town (main street) for 2 years ! I had eaten the best won ton noodle in Ampang & also the Yong tau foo of yesteryears - very original taste ! What a fond memory when I re-visited the Ampang Jaya town near the places I stayed during my good old days when I was just a 19 year old eager-to-learn young man ! The story of a small town by KM ...

5) Ampang Village Yong Tau Foo, Selangor - famous for Hakka style  authentic meat stuffed tofu; two of the Yong Tau Foo restaurants were opened for business on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year !

6) Kau Ong Yah Nan Tian Kong Temple, Ampang, Selangor - devotees participate & pay respects to the generals of Heaven & the Underworld seeking peace & safety & averting calamities during the 9th days of 9th lunar month ie the Nine Emperor God Festival; devotees also offer prayers to the Nine Emperor God during the major Chinese festive occasions.
