Bus from Chiang Mai Bus Terminal arriving at the Chiang Rai Old City Bus Terminal. This bus terminal has regular bus services to Blue & White Temple (Bht15 & Bht30) & Golden Triangle so just show up during the day and you will get to visit these popular tourist attractions in Chiang Rai

Our 2 nights stay in Mercy Hostel (Bht225 dorm), one the best Asian hostels I had ever stayed; spacious room, bed with reading light & socket, curtain for each dorm bed; full kitchen facilities, free breakfast, swimming pool, clean toilets etc. This hostel is within walking distance from the bus terminal (1.5km).
3) White Temple, Chiang Rai - most popular tourist attraction of Chiang Rai, admission 50Bht to enter the main hall but outside compounds are free.
4) Male / Female Washrooms in White Temple (probably 5 star rating)
6) Remembering Chiang Rai, my 3rd visit - Air Asia now has regular flights to Chiang Rai; adverstising campaign to promote the charm of Chiang Rai at the Chiang Rai Bus Terminal !
