Our group took a tuk tuk (electric tricycle -  300Bht) from Chic Hostel to the Giant Swing & visited the following places of interests in downtown Bangkok. All these places are in close proximity and you probably need a half day to accomplish visiting all the places. Two of my group members had a hair cut in a nearby barber shop and our group also had a delicious lunch at an old Thai eatery stall in the area !
