1) Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) near Queen's Cave Hotel, Cappadocia - a short & early morning walk (06.30) with my wife, it was freezing cold out there (1c-4c) but our feeling was great after seeing a number of natural landscape near our hotel area. A number of cave hotels were seen to be operating in this area ! As for 20 members of our tour group, an exciting morning outdoor activity awaited them ie a 1 hour hot air balloon ride (US$220) in Goreme valley (06.30 > 07.30) - an once in a life time experience especially for first timers !

2) Goreme Open Air Museum, Cappadocia (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - a must see and our group was given 1 hour 30 minutes to take a stroll on this open air museum, weaving in & out of some caves, monasteries, churches (a few require separate entrance fees), admiring the cave art & walking cautiously up & down on sloppy ground & metal platforms just to catch a glimpse of the various rock caves & landscapes of this UNESCO site !  A very rewarding experience indeed !
