Day 3 Saturday 3 Nov 2018 - Bolu > Ankara, Capital of Turkey > Cappadocia

SA tour brochure quotes " Leave Bolu for Ankara after breakfast to visit the Ataturk Mausoleum - dedicated to the 1st President of the modern Turkey.
- Make a photo stop at the Salt Lake.
- Continue the journey to Cappadocia - best known for the unique moon like landscape, underground cities and cave churches "

This was my 1st visit to Ankara & Salt Lake - so I fulfilled my dream of seeing this great capital of Turkey. In May 2017, my wife & myself visited an underground Salt Mine in Krakow, Poland - an UNESCO World Heritage site. In 2008, I visited the Dead Sea of Jordan and dipped myself into the Dead Sea for a swim so another "salty' experience for me in the world of traveling. Thus seeing the Salt Lake today in Turkey was quite a refreshing experience to me ! A long bus ride to endure from Bolu to Ankara before arriving in Cappadocia in the evening for our overnight stay !

Makan Makan (Eating) on Day 3

2) Lunch in Emin Kocak Hotel & Restaurant, Kayseri - 4 in a table, set lunch comprising of fresh salads, breads, mandarin oranges, grilled chicken with rice & a hot lentil soup !

3) Dinner in Queen's Cave Hotel, Cappadocia - late dinner due to a long distance travel from Ankara to Cappadocia; set meal of grilled fish (very dry, no gravy) with rice, fresh salads, bread, soup & mandarin oranges - took me quite awhile trying to finish eating the grilled fish fillets !
