My purpose of staying in Shenzen is to visit Hong Kong.

Shenzen was declared as one of cities under the special economic zone by Deng Xiao Peng in the 1980's. Shenzen is located north of Hong Kong, the closest city in China.

With a multiple entry Chinese visa, I was able to make a short visit to Hong Kong & Macau without much protocol.

Shenzen has a number of towering commercial & apartment buildings, hotels etc. Shenzen is also well known as the "Second Wife Village", a haven for wealthy people keeping their mistresses in this modern city !

I spent 2 nights in Shenzen and enjoy my time in the shopping district of this vibrant city, once upon a time a tiny fishing village !
