Travel Highlights:

1) Selayang Hot Spring Pools, Selayang Baru, Batu Caves, Selangor - a naturally hot spring not far from Batu Caves, popular among locals due to its close proximity to Kuala Lumpur, can be quite busy during the weekends & public holidays, my 1st visit so I just show up & took a few pictures & been there and done that !

2) Batu Caves, Gombak, Selangor - a limestone hill that has a series of caves & cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, eye catching 272 rainbow steps & beautiful Hindu temples, a great place to test your physical strength to walk up the top, visited 4-5 times this touristy place during the last 4 years, a down the memory lane visit for my wife & my 3 sisters as their last visit were decades ago !

3) Tiffin At The Yard, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur - a newly opened urban food hub in a colonial 110 year old heritage building, new eateries with modern vibes & interesting concept, a lifestyle destination & a great place to hang out with friends, my 1st visit & I enjoyed the ambience & the surrounding environment !

Makan Makan (Eating) - our group had a noodle lunch (3 Hakka handmade noodles, 1 Hakka pork noodle, 1 prawn / chicken wantan ho fun soup & 1 takeaway Hakka handmade noodle totalled Rm54=US$12.70, a treat from sister Inn & Mei) in Restoran Pak Kopi Kaw, Taman, Jalan PSK 3, Pusat Perdagangan Seri Kembangan, Selangor after the Tiffin At The Yard's visit (12.00)

Kopi Si Rm2.30 (US$0.54)
Hakka Pork Noodle Rm8.50 (US$2)

Pick & Match - taking a cue from watching my favorite CCTV 4 International News & weather forecast for major cities in China & around the world, it was heartening to note that I was able to pick a few of my pictures taken during the Good Old Days (as far back as 2004) & trying my best to match them with the pictures as screened in this TV channel - though one or 2 pictures may not be a close match ! Spring was the best season I normally choose to travel especially to Western & Asian countries with temperate climate.

Land VTL (Vaccinated Travel Lane) to open by May 2022 - Malaysian Government is currently studying several proposals on Malaysia's VTL with neighbouring countries ie Singapore, Thailand & Brunei, hopefully land border crossings among these 3 countries would become a reality soon & this will certainly boost tourism & bilateral trade ....
