Travel is supposed to be simple but no one said it was supposed to be easy ! But in March 2016, I simply showed up in both the scenic North & South Islands of Simply New Zealand, thanks to Air Asia (Malaysia's low cost air liner which was established in 2001) carrying a slogan saying "Now Everyone Can Fly" fulfilling everyone's dream of making flying possible & achievable around any corner of the world ! I was one of the lucky one in that year (2016), the Air Asia flight (Rm1,775 return) flew me from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland via a transit in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia - my first maiden visit to 100% Pure New Zealand situated at a corner of the earth, a country with beautiful landscapes, unique Maori culture, open pasture sheep farming, known for bubbling mud pools, shooting geysers & natural hot springs & last but not the least saying hello to friendly Kiwis with a pointed nose !

For this 22 days solo backpacking trip, in addition to visiting the 6 Best Places as highlighted in the touropia travel video, I had the opportunities to visit Wellington, the capital of NZ, Picton, Christchurch, Arrow Town, Lake Wanaka, Punakaiki / Pancake Rocks Blowholes & Nelson relying on public transport (Intercity & Naked Buses) & ferries (interislanders) booked online for my inter-city travels & ferry crossings (Wellington > Picton).
The 10 Best Places to Visit in New Zealand as narrated in touropia's travel video are (visited 6 out of the 10 Best Places in my first only trip to North & South Islands of New Zealand in March 2016, a golden bonus for me if I can do another trip to NZ in the near future) :
