" My Staycation & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) free & easy day trip to Rainbow Bridge, Jalan Kuyoh. Serdang Village & Artsphere, Taman Prima Tropika, Seri Kembangan (Serdang), Selangor on Thursday Feb 25 (08.30 > 11.30) during Day 14 of the Chinese Lunar "Niu" Year (eve of Chap Goh Meh); travelling by self drive car (using GPS) with my brother Weng from Subang Jaya > Serdang; my 30th outdoor trip after the enforcement of the Movement Control Order by the Malaysian Government since March 18 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic; travel restriction limiting to 10km radius within a district had been lifted on Feb 18 2021; my first visit to Rainbow bridge & Artsphere in Seri Kembangan (Serdang)"
Travel itinerary (self drive): Subang Jaya > Serdang & return (60km)

1) Rainbow Bridge, Jalan Kuyoh, Seri Kembangan (Serdang) New Village, Selangor - an iconic landmark in Serdang Village, the Rainbow Bridge, & Moonlight Tea House have recently been spruced up with a new coat of paint, new LED lights & light bulbs to brighten up the area at night ! An old Wishing tree entangled with red ribbons for you to offer your wishes to loved ones; Seri Kembangan (Serdang) New Village was created during the Malayan Emergency against the communist threat under the British's Briggs Plan in 1952. Some 15,000 Chinese villagers living in Sungei Besi area were relocated here & they had to build their homes from scratch as the British only provided empty plots of land .... a new life & a new beginning !

4) Artsphere, Taman Prima Tropika, Seri Kembangan, Selangor - 80 3D murals drew by 20 talented artists given this place an artistic environment bringing "life" to The Atmosphere !
5) The Atmosphere & Piazza Atmosphere, Taman Prima Tropika, Seri Kembangan - a new commercial development in Seri Kembangan, comprising mainly shop offices, designer small office / home office (SOHO) suites & retail outlets, next to Giant Hypermarket, many vacant lots (untenanted) at the time of my visit ! The new Putra Permai MRT station which will be operational in Jan 2023 is located near The Atmosphere, hopefully this will make the place here more vibrant & business thriving !
6) Giant Hypermarket, Taman Prima Tropika, Seri Kembangan, Selangor
After the Rainbow bridge & Artsphere visits in Serdang, I had a dim sum lunch with brother Weng & sister Inn & Peng in Pinchang Dim Sum Restaurant, Cheras Selatan, Balakong, Selangor - total Rm82=US$20.50 (11 plates of assorted dim sum + a pot of hot Chinese tea + Service Charge (10%) & Service Tax (6%)

Day 14 of the Chinese "Niu" Year - My "green green & cool cool" early morning walk in SS17, Subang Jaya near my neighbourhood area - nature at its best ! The tall standing trees & over grown plants along the road sides, the colorful flowers, the natural landscape, hill slopes, the serene environment, peaceful, tranquil & calm, the cool morning air, smiling walkers greeting each other, clear sky, no doubt mother nature at her very best ! So put on your walking shoes & wake up early & start a morning walk near your neighbourhood area - an "Ox-citing" day awaits you !
