Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) 2015

The following places have been voted as the Top 10 Tourist Attractions in Malaysia:
1) Mulu Caves
2) Sepilok Rehabitation Centre
3) Perhentian Islands
4) Langkawi
5) Petronas Twin Towers
6) Mt Kinabalu
7) Pulau Tioman
8) Taman Negara
9) George Town Inner City
10) Cameron Islands

Though I am an avid traveller, I have yet to visit Taman Negara (visited in 2019), Mulu Caves, Sepilok Rehabitation Centre & Perhentian Islands. 

I hope my dreams of visiting these places could be fulfilled in the near future. 

Malaysia currently has 5 UNESCO World Heritage Sites:

1) Archaeological heritage of the Lenggong Valley (Perak)
2) Gunung Mulu National Park (Northern Sarawak)
3) Kinabalu Park (Sabah, Borneo)
4) Historical centre of Melaka
5) Historical centre of George Town, Penang

As for Kuala Lumpur, the following are the 10 top best tourist attractions:
1) Petronas Towers
2) Menara KL Tower
3) China Town
4) Batu Caves
5) Sultan Abdul Samad Building
6) Sunway Lagoon Theme Park
7) Aquaria KLCC
8) Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang

10) KL Bird Park

So if you are planning a visit to Malaysia, you may like to consider including the above places in your travel plan. Malaysia is truly Asia !

For the past few years, my youngest brother, Hong and his family (Jennifer, Ryan & Wendy) who are Singapore citizens, enjoyed coming to Kuala Lumpur during the year end school holiday especially the Christmas period. This year was no exception so again I played host to drive them around the Klang Valley and took them to few touristy places and also savored some local food.

During Christmas day , I took the opportunity to do some photo shooting on a few touristy places in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Being a local and using public transport ie KTM trains, LRT trains, Mono-Rail & Rapid KL buses, I was able to visit the following places. It took me approx 5 hours to complete this noble task :

- Kasturi Walk
- Petaling Street & China Town
- Bukit Bintang Area

Though I have a strong passion in travelling, I and my wife had over the last 10 years cultivated a strong interest in learning & practising Qigong (for health improvement) in USJ 19 center !
