Thursday May 15 2025 (Final Day - Johor Bahru, Pontian Kechil & Batu Pahat) - my group's final day in Johor Bahru & after a breakfast, we took the coastal way & had 3 stopovers for food & a little sightseeing in Pontian Kechil (my hometown) & Batu Pahat, Johor before driving home sweet home (arriving in Subang Jaya at 18.30) !
Travel Itnerary (Day 3): Danga Bay, Johor Baru > Pontian Kechil > Batu Pahat > Taman Equine > Subang Jaya (my home place), approx 375km.

1) Early morning walk (07.00) in Food Street adjacent to the Beletime Danga Bay Mall, Johor Bahru prior to breakfast.
2) Breakfast (07.15 > 07.45) in Restoran Syed Ali, Commercial Street, Country Garden, Danga Bay, Johor Bahru, Johor, savoured Indian food ie tosai, chapati, hot coffee & tea, total food bill Rm14.50 (US$3.30, for a table of 3) prior to hotel check-out.
3) Early hotel check-out (08.30) after a cosy & enjoyable 2 nights stay in Danga Bay.
4) Danga Bay, Johor Bahru > Pontian Kechil, my hometown (car journey approx 50km), a leisure drive along the main trunk roads, a feeling of homecoming, reminiscing the Good Old Days of my childhood & schooling years (1950 > 1968), echoing this song lyrics "country roads take me home to the place I belong" !
8) Si Hai Long Wang Temple, Jalan Pantai, Batu Pahat, Johor - one of Batu Pahat's most beautiful landmark, located approx 2km from the city center, unique architecture, picturesque Batu Pahat riverside, calm ambience, my group's first time visit !
10) Taman Rekreasi Tasik Y, Batu Pahat, Johor - suburban park / garden featuring a man-made lake & jogging path, a playground & dinosaur sculptures, a short visit !
