The start of our group's self drive car (07.00) from Subang Jaya, Selangor (my home place) to Gerik, Perak via North-South Expressway (2 R & R stops along the way)

1) Gerik Town, Perak - a stopover for lunch, my 1st visit to this country town in northern Peninsula Malaysia !

11) Bought car travel insurance (Rm25, up to 8 days coverage) from Zahrin Insurance before entering the Malaysian / Thai Immigration Check Points. 

12) Malaysian / Thai Immigration passport checking / stamping & vehicle form processing before entering Betong, Thailand, paid a total of Rm18 for Arrival / Departure white card + car vehicle passenger form filling (group of 4) at a private table service counter & Rm3 for computer registering of vehicle passenger form at the Thai Immigration Vehicle Exit Check Point.
