Day 1 Friday Dec 13 2019 - started our leisure drive from our home place in Klang Valley to Kajang & then by North South Expressway to Ayer Keroh followed by main trunk roads to Tangkak, Ayer Hitam, Yong Peng, Simpang Rengam & our overnight stays in Kulai. Visited 3 tourist attractions ie Kelapa Sawit Wall Mural, Hwa Huo Shan Temple & Putuo Village in the late afternoon after our hotel check in Kulai.
Subang Jaya > Ayer Keroh > Tangkak = 154km
Tangkak > Yong Peng > Ayer Hitam > Kulai = 154km
1) Main trunk roads from Ayer Keroh to Tangkak; countryside sceneries, oil palm plantations, country roads, rural towns, Gunong Ledang, bridges, rivers etc
2) Stopover for a short rest in Tangkak town, Johor
3) Savoring the famous beef noodle soup in Tangkak - Rm8 (US$1.90) per bowl; for big eaters or gluttons, you probably needs 2 bowls to whet your appetite !
4) Bought a few packs of home made pastries from a cake shop located next door from the beef noodle shop.
5) Stopover for lunch in Ayer Hitam town, Johor
6) Lunch in a coffee shop restaurant in Ayer Hitam, Johor - ginger drink (Rm2), roasted pork / chicken with rice (Rm5 per plate)
7) Kelapa Sawit Wall Mural, Kampung Sri Paya, Kulai - after our hotel check in (3pm), made our first visit to this tourist attraction located about 8.7km from Kulai town, Johor.
