A cold winter awaiting you in Hokkaido comes Dec - March. If you have not visited Japan, make a visit to Hokkaido first, be it in Autumn or Winter and I am sure it will be a memorable one ! Remember, what you can take are only pictures and what you can leave are only your footmarks !!!
For travelers or tourists who enjoy skiing, taking a ice breaker ship to see drift ice or seals (if lucky) or show up in Feb to see the Sapporo Snow Festival - and I believe after experiencing & seeing these sights, not only Sapporo but the whole of Hokkaido resorts can make you smiles, ever lasting smiles !!!
