On arrival at the Macau Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal, I together with my wife took a bus to an underground bus terminal at Barrier Gate. From there, I took a connecting bus to Kiang Wu Hospital bus station which was within walking distance to our hotel.

Both of us stayed for a night in Holiday Hotel, a 10 minutes walk to the Ruins of St Paul's. As Christmas was around the corner and it was a Sunday, Macau city was packed with day trippers and tourists from the mainland China & overseas. Our group visited the Senado Square, Ruins of St Paul's, St Dominic Church, Mount Fortress, the New Casino Lisboa & the main street of Sin Ma Lu.

What a splendid visit to Macau after seeing the city by day & night ! Nightlife in Macau is just fabulous !

Hong Kong currencies are widely accepted in Macao and their exchange rates were of same value.

After our Macau visit, we took a bus from Gongbei bus station back to Guangzhou - the journey took about 2 hrs 15 mins.
