From Luohu, Shenzhen, my wife & myself took an East Rail Line (ERL) to Hung Hom. After the immigration clearance (a 20 mins queuing), both of us bought an Octopus card and took a West Rail Line (WRL) to Tsim Sha Tsui for our hostel check in.
We stayed for 3 nights in Venetian Hostel located on the 13th floor, Mirador Mansion, Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Our group did some window shopping in Ladies market, Harbor City shopping mall, Times Square & Sogo. On the second day we took a ferry to Cheung Chau island and a metro to Lantau island (the Big Buddha & Tai O village) on the 3rd day. Other places of interest we visited were The Victoria Peak, Lan Kwai Fong, The Star Avenue & 1881 Heritage building etc
On the 4th day morning, we took a Turbo Jet from the China Ferry Terminal, Canton Road to Macau . The journey time was about 60 minutes.
Thus my wife fulfilled her dream in visiting Hong Kong & Macau after a lapse of 27 years. Another dream comes true for both of us !
