" God always offers a second chance in LIFE "

Kellie Castle (constructed in 1915), Batu Gajah, Perak - built by William Kellie Smith, a Scottish Civil Engineer (aged 20) who arrived in Malaya in 1890. In 1909, he built his first mansion called "Kellas House" & in 1915, he started planning for the Kellie Castle; all the bricks & marble were imported from India; unfortunately William Kelli Smith died at the age 56 due to pneumonia during a short trip to Lisbon, Portugal in 1926; William's wife was devastated & returned to Scotland & the property was sold to a British company called Harrison & Crosfield
