Day 14 Saturday Feb 18 2023 - our group's final day stay in Tam Coc before taking a train ride from Ninh Binh > Hue (17.50 > 05.45).
1) Complimentary breakfast in Thanh Dat Homestay, Tam Coc Bich Dong - Ninh Hai, Hoa Lu.
2) Early morning walk near our hotel, Tam Coc Boat Station & morning market,
3) My solo visit to Thai Vi Temple, 2km from my hotel; scenic landscape as I walked past the rice fields, lush greeneries, karst mountains, country roads & lakes etc, well worth the efforts I put in for this morning stroll !
4) Co Vien Lau Temple, Tam Coc - just a brief stop, pay to enter !
5) Cua Quan Temple, Tam Coc
6) Thai Vi Temple, Tam Coc - a sacred ancient temple complex dating to 13th century, surrounded by mountains, with a courtyard & stone arches.
7) Lunch with my wife & travel buddy, KF Wong in Home Town Restaurant, Tam Coc, ordered one sweet & sour pork with rice & 1 plate of fried vege & mushrooms totalled 120,000dong (Rm23.40)

8) Bought 2 Banh My fried omelette & vege Vietnamese sandwich (takeaway 25,000dong = Rm4.10) to be eaten as a light dinner at the Ninh Binh Train Station prior our overnight train ride departing 17.50 to Hue !
9) Train ride from Ga Ninh Binh Train Station > Ga Hue Train Station (572km, 17.50 > 05.45) - a 4 beds cabin train ticket online booking Rm210 (US$48); bye bye to our 2 nights wonderful stay in Tam Coc, my 1st visit !
