Day 5 Thursday Feb 9 2023 - our group's walking trail from SAPA town > Cat Cat Village.
Travel itinerary: SAPA Town > Cat Cat Village (2km)
1) Good Morning, SAPA - woke up early & took these pictures from my hotel's balcony, misty & cloudy but scenic views !
2) Complimentary breakfast in hotel's cafe - a choice of fried rice or Vietnamese sandwich or Omelette with bread & butter.
3) The start of our group's morning walk (a gentle downhill walk along a winding road) from our hotel to Cat Cat Village (approx 2km); scenic landscape & mountain scenery !
4) Xavia SAPA
5) Khu Du Lich Cat Cat - SAPA (Cat Cat Tourism Village) overlooking the Moung Hoa Valley & rice field terraces !
6) Ticket Station, Cat Cat Tourism Village - SAPA.
Cat Cat Village, SAPA - set in the Moung Hoa Valley, Cat Cat Village is known for its natural beauty & H'mong culture & tradition. Traditional wood huts, some serving as homestays, overlook mountainside rice field terraces. On Si Bridge, visitors pass stalls selling H'mong handicrafts, homemade corn wine & naturally dyed clothes on the way to Tien Sa waterfalls, cultural shows are performed at the Nha Hang Dung Thu center.

2) The start of our group's free & easy walk in Cat Cat Village, SAPA, many Instagram spots for photo shooting along the way!

5) Pick up point in Cat Cat Traditional Village - local village bikers offering services to ferry tourists back to SAPA town; 100,000 dong (Rm19.50) per ride for a return journey to SAPA town (2.5km)

7) Traditional linen weaving, Cat Cat Village SAPA
8) Si Bridge, Cat Cat Village

14) W.C / Toilet (managed by local residents) - get ready a 5,000 dong note (Rm1) or small change if you are in need of a toilet run !

16) Moang Hoa Valley & rice field terraces, SAPA
17) Cat Cat Bridge, SAPA - completed our walking trail & each of us took a motorcycle ride (60,000 dong = Rm11.70) back to SAPA town.
18) A panoramic view of Fansipan mountain as viewed from my hotel's balcony in the evening.
19) Dinner with my 4 travel buddies at a local restaurant near our hotel, ordered Vietnamese / Western style set menu 150,000dong (Rm24.25) per pax
20) An evening walk (after the dinner) in SAPA Square, enjoying the cool winter weather & the nightlife in the main F & B & shopping street area before retiring for bed ! A long day but a rewarding one !
