Day 16 Part 3 Monday Feb 20 2023 - our group's full day (09.30 > 17.00) visit in Hue Imperial City & Hue Royal Antiquities Museum.
1) Royal Treasury, Hue Imperial City

3) Trieu To Mieu & Thai Mieu Temple, Hue Imperial City

4) Phuoc Tho Temple, Imperial Citadel, Hue - a Buddhist temple & a shrine, built in 1831, restored in 1849 & 1900. Shoes off for second floor visit & no photo shooting inside !
5) Hue Royal Antiquities Museum (UNESCO) - formerly Long An Palace, built in 1845 under the reign of Emperor Thieu Tri (1841>1847), no photography inside the museum (but managed to take two pictures of the exhibits prior to been advised by a museum staff !). Indeed, the exhibits on display in the Royal Museum are real "gems" & impressive to view ! Located 150m outside of the Hien Nhon Gate of the Hue Imperial City - use GPS for direction guide !
6) Adjacent Exhibition Hall showing the Royal Antiquities Museum Antiquities in pictorial forms for public to admire & appreciate !

8) Bronze Urn " Xuan Thu Dinh Thinh " - a gift of the Vietnamese officers who worked in colonial French civil service presented to the Emperor Khai Dinh (1915 > 1925) wishing the Emperor's good health & prosperous.

9) Lunch in a local noodle stall opposite the Imperial Citadel, Hue, each ordered a bowl of pork noodle soup 40,000dong (Rm7.80)

10) Dinner with my wife & travel buddy, KF Wong in a local restaurant near our hotel in Hue, order a stir fried vegetable, rice with chicken & rice with mushroom & pork totalled 160,000dong (Rm31.20)
