Day 16 Part 2 Monday Feb 20 2023 - my full day visit to Hue Imperial City.

1) Nine Dynasty's Ancestor Hall, Hue Imperial City. 


2) Long Galleries of  Ca Canh Palace, Hue Imperial City


3) Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial City - under renovation !


4) Hung To Mieu Temple, Hue Imperial City
 

5) Tinh Ninh Building, Hue Imperial City - a wooden structure named Thong Minh Duong built in 19th century, originally stood on this site, in 1927, it was replaced with current building & used as a medical clinic for Empress Thanh Cung Emperor Dong Khanh's first wife in her later years in 1950, it was renovated for use as President Bao Dai's private residence. 



6) Ta Tra Building, Hue Imperial City - built in 1804, functioned as the waiting hall for those who were granted an audience at Dien Tho Palace with the Queen Mother, originally made of wood & linked to Dien Tho Palace by a roofed corridor, it was modelled with concrete around 1927, Ta Tra building was seriously damaged by war in 1968 & by a typhoon in 1985. 


7) Souvenir shops, Hue Imperial City 


8) Phuoc Tho Temple, Khoung Ninh Pavilion, HUe Imperial City - built in the 12th year og Minh Mang reign (1831) in Dien Tho residence as the worshipping place of deities, Buddhists for ladies in the royal palace, no photo shooting allowed inside the temple. 



9) Dien Tho Residence, Hue Imperial City - dating from 1804, Dien Tho Palace was the mopst importance building in Dien Tho Residence, originally this palace served as the Queen mother's apartment & audience hall, it was renovated in 1916 & restored in 1849.
