UNESCO Sites, India - India currently has 38 World Heritage sites comprising of 30 cultural, 7 natural & 1 mixed. The state of Maharashtra has the most of the UNESCO sites. Ahmedabad is the 1st World Heritage City declared by UNESCO ! My 3 free & easy trips (2007, 2018 & 2019) to India had provided me the opportunities to visit a total of 22 UNESCO sites thus far, a great start but I yearn to see more .... To know India is to love India ! Incredible India ! Very historic & charming !
Whereas China has 55 UNESCO World Heritage Sites (ranking No 1), of these 37 are cultural, 14 are natural heritage sites & 4 are cultural and natural (mixed). To date, I had made 22 trips to China and visited a total of 39 UNESCO sites !
