Day 1 - 3 (Tuesday to Wednesday), 10th - 13/9/2019 in Hyderabad - My 2 nights stay in Hyderabad, Telangana
" Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's Telangana state. A major center for the technology industry, it's home to many upscale restaurants & shops. It's historic sites include Golconda Fort, a former diamond trading center that was once the Qutb Shahi dynastic capital. The Charminar, a 16h century mosque whose 4 arches support towering minarets, is an old city landmark near the long standing Laad Bazaar "
1) Took a airport shuttle skybus (Rm6 for seniors one way) from KL Sentral & arriving in KLIA 2 at around 5.30pm. I had a Thai sweet & sour chicken rice (Rm10.50) dinner at a Food Court in the airport.
2) Luggage check in, immigration & security clearance, duty free shops & waiting lounge before boarding my Air Asia flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia > Hyderabad, India (21.40 > 23.25; Malaysia is ahead of India by 2hrs 30 minutes)
3) Arriving at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Hyderabad; after immigration clearance & luggage collection, I took a rest at a waiting area (Meeting Point) opposite the exit hall awaiting the arrival of my travel buddy from Singapore at 00.40am - a short waiting time of 1 hour ! At 05.30am, both of us took a local bus from the airport towards the city center for our hotel check in.
4) Hotel accommodation in Hyderabad - My 3 days 2 nights stay in Deccan Comforts Guest House, 5-9-19/14, 15 Opposite Secretariat Old Gate, Saifabad, Hyderabad, India Tel +91 90300 44474.; online booking room tariff: a Deluxe Double Room (non-airconditioned) Rp1,998 (Rm33.30=US$8.00) per pax per night
5) Jalan Jalan (walkabout) in Secunderabad & Hyderabad during the duration our 2 nights stay in Hyderabad !
6) Lakdi-ka-pul Metro Station near our Deccan Comforts Guest House
7) MGBS Bus Station, Hyderabad - went to this bus station to find out the right bus going to Nagarjuna Konda but did not get any information so we gave up this planned trip !
8) Public Garden, Department of Horticulture Hyderabad - a pleasant & leisure walk around the garden & a short rest !
9) Dr Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy State Museum, Hyderabad - closed at the time of our visit due to the Ganesh Festival
10) Makan Makan (Eating) in Hyderabad - Hyderabad is famous for her chicken biryani so nearby the Charminar mosque, we had our first Indian food eaten outside - chicken biryani (full) Rp80 (Rm4.80) + a coke (Rp20) - not a hasty choice but a tasty lunch - yummy yummy food as our late lunch while wandering around the Hyderabad city !
