Day 2 Monday Jan 19 2026 (Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam) - my 2nd night stay in Phu Quoc island, spent our morning visiting the Dinh Cao & Dinh Ba Thuy Long Thanh Mau Temple in Phu Quoc city centre; using a hired bike, we spent the rest of the day visiting various touristy places along the south west coastline of Phu Quoc island & visited Phu Quoc Marina, Sun World Vui Fest Night Market, Sun World Sun Set Town, Chua Ho Quoc Pagoda & Ngoc Trai Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm.
1) My travel buddy's breakfast ie Banh Mi in a roadside stall next to Thuan Hai hotel.
2) The coastline, Phu Quoc City, Vietnam - within walking distance from the Night Market & Thuan Hai Hotel.
3) Dinh Ba Thuy Long Thanh Mau (Lady Temple), Phu Quoc, Vietnam - located near the rock temple at the entrance to Duong Dong town, known for its colourful, intricate architecture, ornate shrines & significant role in local maritime worship.

5) Dinh Cau (Rock) Temple & the Lighthouse, Phu Quoc City, Vietnam - a unique site located at the mouth of the Duong Dong River in Mui Dinh Cau, a small shrine built in the 17th century for the local community to worship the Sea Goddess & pray for protection & safety, over the centuries, it has been rebuilt & today it remains the most important spiritual place for the island's maritime community.

10) Day 1 Biking Tour to Phu Quoc Marina, Vietnam - located 25 minutes from Duong Dong town centre & 15 minutes from Phu Quoc International Airport, an integrated resort complex with a gorgeous stretch of beach on Bai Truong, premier hotels are the Regent Hotel & Resort, InterContinetal Hotel, boutique hotels & Sailing Club etc.
11) Day 1 Biking Tour to Sun World Vui Fest Bazaar Market (Night Market) is a seaside market in Sunset Town, Southern Phu Quoc, Vietnam.
12) Sun World Sunset Town, Phu Quoc, Vietnam - a vibrant Mediterranean-inspired "miniature Europe" lying on the hillsides on the south west coast of the island, beautiful sunset views, the resort area here includes a "Floating Harbour", " Sun Premier Village Primavera, a rising symbol of Phu Quoc city" & "Sun Grand City Hillside Residence Apartment & Shophouse The Center", row of Taomina style townhouses, Central Village with a complex of nearly 60 iconic buildings & well invested utility systems, the focal point of the town is the 75m red clock tower facing the sea, inspired by the bell tower of St Italy's famous Mark's Campanile, the Central Village Clock Tower simulates a lighthouse in front of the sea, giving visitors a beautiful view of the windy ocean.

13) Chua Ho Quoc, Phu Quoc, Vietnam - built with a unique architecture, Ho Quoc Pagoda is one of the most famous spiritual tourist attractions in Phu Quoc.
14) Day 1 Biking Tour to Ngoc Trai Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm, Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam - establiashed since 1994, the company cooperates with Japanese experts to ensure the creation of best pearl quality, visitors are briefed of the whole process of harvesting oysters & pearl jewels making, in addition, visitors can visit the sculpture process of artisans & unique sculptures from fossil giant clam shells for thousands of years, the sightseeing process is free, an impressive showroom & high quality pearl products on display & for sales.
15) Prior to exiting the pearl farm visit, we made a short visit to a beach located behind the pearl farm complex, an Instagram spot especially an interesting sighting of a neat row of slanted L-shaped coconut trees sloping towards the South China Sea.
16) Day 1 Phu Quoc Biking Tour to a Vietnamese Temple in downtown Phu Quoc city, Vietnam
17) Dinner with my travel buddy in a chicken noodle restaurant, Phu Quoc city - savoured a plate of steamed white chicken + rice vermicelli soup (50K VND = Rm8), delicious & tasty !
