Mysore Palace Museum (within a historic fort) Part 1, Mysuru, Karnataka - also known as Amba Vilas Palace, a historical palace (completed in 1912) & a royal residence, a 3 storey stone palace with marble domes & has a 145ft tall 5 storey tower, a large garden surrounding the palace, 12 Hindu temples, ornate rooms, coronated Durbar hall, grey granite, Indo-Saracenic building, used to be an official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty & the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore, the palace is in the centre of Mysore & faces the Chamundi Hills eastward.
