Day 13 Dec 22 2023 - sleeper bus ride from Jodhpur > Udaipur (07.30 > 14.15, 305km 4hr 45mins) Rp500 = Rm29

Brief stopover for light refreshment, toilet run & countryside scenery from Jodhpur > Udaipur  

Hotel Accommodation (Udaipur): My 3 nights stay in Lake Face Guest House Rp1,008 = Rm58 (twin sharing) per room night

Evening stroll to downtown Udaipur - a familiarization visit !  

Day 14 Dec 23 2023 - my 2nd day in Udaipur, devoted our day visiting the Lake Pichola, Gangur Ghat & City Palace Museum & downtown Udaipur.

Woke up early & took a few pictures of Lake Pichola from the windows of my hotel room, clear blue sky, cloudy, charming lake, picturesque, water in the lake was calm & serene ! 

Complimentary breakfast from the Guest House's kitchen.

After the breakfast, it was time to venture out & explore the Lake Pichola & the Udaipur city - a familiarisation visit to see a greater Udaipur city under our own lens as a visiting tourist from Malaysia ! I observed that the city will only come alive after most shops open at around 11.00 ! So in my early morning visit (08.00 > 09.00), most local residents are still in deep slumber & having their wild dreams !  

Jadgish Temple by Day, Udaipur, Rajasthan - a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur, just outside the royal palace, it has been in continuous worship since 1651, a big tourist attraction, the temple was originally called the temple of Jagannath Rai but is now called Jagdish-ji, a major monument in Udaipur. 

My self prepared rice vermicelli soup cooked with Ipoh salted chicken spices mix eaten in the comfort of our hotel room. 

After the lunch, another round of heritage walk round the Lake Pichola & Lake Pateh Sagar, crossing the Chandpole & Daiji Bridge & downtown Udaipur city visit - so wonderful to see & so much to appreciate the city's beauty & the surrounding !

Gangaur Ghat, Udaipur, Rajasthan - a main ghat situated near the waterfront of Lake Pichola in Udaipur, near the Jagdish Chowk area, it is known for Bagore ki-Haveli, a popular tourist destination of the city. 

Bagore ki Haveli Museum, Udaipur, Rajasthan - the museum was closed at the time of my visit in the late afternoon.
