Day 12 Dec 21 2023 (Jodhpur) - bike hire to outlying touristy places in Jodhpur & visited Mandore Garden, Kaylana Lake & Masuriya Hill to satisfy our curiosity of getting to know a bit more about Jodhpur so called the Blue City or The Sun City of Rajasthan ! 

Mandore Garden, Jodhpur, Rajasthan - approx 7 km from Jodhpur, an abandoned heritage destination since 1459, houses ancient temples, a museum, memorials & high-rock terraces, Mandore Gardens starts from the 6th century which was under the rule of Pratiharas of Mandavyapura; admission fee Rp25 = Rm1.45

Kaylana Lake, Jodhpur, Rajasthan - located 8km west of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, an artificial lake built by Pratap Singh in 1872, the lake spreads over an area of 0.84 sq km, in ancient times this region had palaces & gardens made by 2 rulers of Jodhpur ie Bhim Singh & Takhat Singh. 

Machia Biological Park, Jodhpur, Rajasthan - near Kaylana Lake, a zoological garden located approx 7km from Jodhpur city, external visit only.

Masuriya Hill Garden, Jodhpur, Rajasthan - a perfect sunset point in Jodhpur, a hilltop garden (pay to enter) with city panorama, a Veer Durgadas Rathore equestrian statute & a TV tower, external visit only, magnificent view of Jodhpur city as seen from the hilltop.
