Day 11 Tuesday May 23 2023 Part 3 - focusing my visit to a number of touristy places in Batu area (09.00 >17.50) using a hired car with a driver (600,000Rp = Rm185) covering the following places in Batu, located approx 17km from Kota Malang, East Java:
- Gunung Banyak Fun Forest, Taman Langit & Paralayang
- Florawista
- Coban Rondo Waterfall
- Kota Wisata Batu
- Malang Skyland
- Jawa Timur 3 Park (Dino Mall)
- Museum Angkut
- Pasar Apung (Floating Market)

Kota Batu, also known as Batu is in East Java Province, a former Dutch hill retreat, it is surrounded by mountains like Arjuno & Welirang which have summit trails, Jawa Timur Park 2 has exotic animals at Batu Secret Zoo & animal skeletons at Museum Satwa; to the west, Songgokerto village is home to hot springs & the ancient Hindu Songgorti Temple, nearby is the high Coban Rondo Waterfall.
1) Jawa Timur 3 Park (Dino Mall, Ground Floor), Kota Batu, Batu, East Java - the hottest dinosaur theme park in East Java, open to public, need a full day if you want to enter the major theme parks inside the mall & pay to enter for each theme park entry, exit via an Oleh Oleh (Souvenir & Gift) store ! Bought a kilo of small green "Batu" apples (15,000Rp = Rm4.60) for the Oleh Oleh store before exiting the mall !

Dino Mall, 1st Floor, Kota Batu, Batu, East Java - houses Jurassic Action, House of Zombie, The Miracle, Terminal Selfie, 6D Cinema & Circus Magic. Pay to enter !
2) Museum Angkut (Transportation), Kota Batu, East Java - entrance ticket 100,000Rp (Rm33), a transport museum in Batu, East Java, located on the hillside of Mt Panderman, part of Mt Kawi Butak, the museum has more than 300 collections of various types traditional to modern transportation; took a few pictures from the outside of the museum.
3) Pasar Apung (Floating Market) 6 Negara, Malang, Java - Pasar Apung is part part of the Museum Angkut, located in Batu City, 2km from Downtown, a unique market in East Java, free entry to Floating Market but need to pay 100,000Rp (Rm33) for entry to Museum Angkut, here you can find many choices of good food (plus dine-in) cooked in different recipes & flavours from countries such as Indonesia, China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, also on sale are souvenirs & handicrafts etc
