Day 12 Wednesday (Morning) May 23 2023  Kota Malang, Java - focusing my visit to 3 colorful villages in Kota Malang (within walking distance from our hotel) before taking a train ride (departing 16.30) to our next destination, Probolinggo !

Hanging colorful umbrellas, hanging colorful banners, hanging colorful balloons, hanging colorful hats, colorful dwellings, buildings (roofs & walls) & lively colorful streets; here, you could see the "dressing" up of anything visible painted in a mixed of rainbow colors, exclusive navy blue, bright & striking colors, 3-D art etc ..... so a sea of colors (no dull black & white colors, no color blind) awaiting you as soon as you enter these 3 kampung (villages); clean, neat & tidy all of which probably having a mission to make their daily lives in the villages a "colorful" one & the world a beautiful place to live & admire especially from the perspective of a Goldie traveller like me in my twine light years ! Needless to say, these colorful villages will certainly draw tourists (I am one of the lucky ones in this ocassion) & visitors to visit when they show up in Kota Malang for a holiday !  So when you do show up, wear a rainbow color T-shirt / dress together with a bright red, blue or yellow pant as these blend well with the village environment & make the visit more lively ! I hope your travelling life becomes more "colorful" after completion of your memorable visit to these 3 colorful villages in Malang ! It seemed liked another chapter of my colorful traveling life has been achieved after these 3 colorful villages visit !

1) Kampung Biru (Blue Village), Malang, Java - am I in the Greek city of Santorini ? On the opposite side of Blue Village, you can pay a visit to Kampung Tridi & Kampung Warna Warni of Jodipan (Rainbow Village), so a 3 in 1 visit if you have a morning to spare while in Kota Malang ! Free entry at the time of my early morning (08.00) visit !

2) Kampung (Village) Tridi, Kota Malang, Java - known as Indonesian 3D City, a hot spot for photos, this cheerful village offers colorful houses with funky decor & public art ! Entrance fee 5,000Rp (Rm1.60)

Selamat Jalan (Have A Good Journey) ! 

3) Kampung Warna Warni (Rainbow Village), Kota Malang, Java - linked by a "tempered glass" bridge separating the Village Tridi & Rainbow Village, a nice & mini panoramic view of the Tridi & Rainbow Village (both sides) if you take a pause & stand on the "Jembatan Kaca" glass bridge, entrance fee 5,000Rp (Rm1.60).

4) After the 3 colorful villages visit & on my way back to hotel, I saw a barber shop - if my hairs now looked like a "hippie", I do not mind having a haircut - of course Javanese style in this barber shop & have a fresh new look to continue my visit & wander the remaining of my days in my last city of visit in Java ie Probolinggo ! 

5) Aloha Hotel, Kota Malang, Java - a good rest in the hotel reception lounge after the check out time (12.00) before walking to the Malang train station to board our train to Probolinggo (departing 16.30 arriving Probolinggo 19.00)

6) My simple lunch in a food stall opposite Aloha hotel, Kota Malang, Java
