Day 3 Monday May 15 2023 Surabaya, Java - my walkabout in Surabaya city in particular in Jalan Tunjungan, Alun Alun Surabaya, Submarine Monument & a few bus rides to nearby touristy places !  

1) My 2nd day complimentary breakfast in Varna Culture Hotel, Surabaya; needless to say, I just enjoy the food in the comfort of my hotel.

2) After the breakfast, the start of my exploratory visit & walkabout in Surabaya city from our hotel (Jalan Tunjungan) & also learning to take local city bus (well maintained, comfortable & air-conditioned, free for adults including foreigners above 60 years old) to nearby touristy places !

6) A bus stop along Jalan Tunjungan, Surabaya & a signboard providing interactive map routes etc so it is quite easy for you to take the public bus to various places following the bus route direction ! 

7) Monument Kapal Selam (Surabaya Submarine Monument), Surabaya, Java, entrance fee 15,000Rp (Rm4.60), my 1st time entering a submarine ! 

8) Selma Furniture Plaza, Surabaya, Java

9) Patung Suro & Boyo Skate Park, Surabaya, Java.

10) Pasar Turi Baru, Surabaya, Java

11) Suarabaya Pasar Turi Train Station, Java - visited the Customer Service Counter to inquire the availability of KAI train services from Malang > Probollingo & Probolling > Surabaya. 

12) Dinner in Ilegal Nasi Kulit Restaurant, Jalan Tunjungan, Surabaya, Java - each of us ordered a set menu of Nasi Lemak Ayam + drink 30,000Rp (Rm9.20). 

13) After the dinner, took a walk to Tunjungan Plaza before retiring to bed !
