Saturday Feb 22 2025 (Day 13 - Xishuangbana, Yunnan) - spent 3/4 day in visiting the Primitive Forest Park, Xishuangbana, Yunnan. 

Ground Transport & Food: CNY120

1) Hotel buffet breakfast to cheer you up especially if you enjoy the food & eating with your fellow travel buddies ! 

2) Xishuangbana Train Station - took a DiDi cab (CNY31) from our hotel to the train station to buy our 4 train tickets (CNY44 = Rm27 x 4) for our train trip from Xishuangbana > Pu'er, our next destination in southern China. 

3) Didi cab ride (CNY34) from Xishuangbana Train Station > Xishuangbana Primitive Forest Park, free admission for Senior above 70+, CNY22.50 for Senior above 60+ (50% rebate), buggy ride CNY60. 

4) The Underwater World of Mekong River - buy separate entrance ticket for entry 

5) Entry to Primitive Forest Park - a short walk from the Ticketing Counter 

6) Peacocks roaming freely by the roadside 

7) Sightseeing Stop No 1 - Peacock Villa & Peacock Flying Show, Primitive Forest Park, Xishuangbana, Yunnan - peacock is the main star in this Park ! 

8) Venue & Grand Stand for the Peacock Flying Show, 1st show starts 09.30, the last show is 17.20, so check the time table so that you could grab a prime seat (free seating for all) to watch this thrilling & entertaining Peacock Flying Show ! 

9) Its' show time, hundreds of peacocks glide from the mountains & fly across the Golden Lake, an interesting sights seeing so many peacocks flying from the sky landing on the light green platform scouring for feeds spreading on the ground by Park officials ..... its' feeding time ! 

10) Bought a piece of fried onion pancake (CNY8) for munching during the Peacock Flying Show. 

11) Sightseeing Stop No 2 - Electric buggy ride from Peacock Villa > Jiulong Waterfall & Aini Village

12) Sightseeing Stop No 3 - Aini Village (show house), a minority tribe in Xishuangbana. 

13) Sightseeing Stop No 4 - Electric buggy ride from Aini Village > Tropical Ravine Rainforest - this rainforest walk is a common thing in my home country, Malaysia, a tropical country in South East Asia ! 

14) Water Festival Show, Rainforest Cultural Plaza, Primitive Forest Park, Xishuangbana, Yunnan - attracted a large crowd for this water splashing fun activity ! 

15) Exiting the Primitive Forest Park - took a DiDi cab (CNY34 = Rm20) from the Park to our hotel in Jinghong City. 

15) Dinner with my travel buddy, KF Wong in a local restaurant - both of us savoured a plate of stir fried pork offal / chilli + stir fried homemade tofu + Rice + Hot Tea (totalled CNY82 = Rm49)

16) Evening walk in a shopping mall nearby our hotel after the dinner before retiring for bed.
