Day 3 Tuesday Nov 22 2022 - our group's 3rd & final day in Hat Yai, group's morning breakfast at a food stall in Kim Yong Market, hired a tuk tuk for a morning visit (2hrs) to Stainless Steel Pagoda located 40 minutes from Hat Yai town, departed Hat Yai at 17.45 for an overnight train ride to Hua Hin

4) Tuk Tuk hire (600bht = Rm78 for a group of 5) from Red Planet Hotel for our group's visit to Stainless Steel Temple / Pagoda located at a hilltop (winding roads uphill), 40 minutes of tuk tuk drive from Hat Yai town!
5) Stainless Steel Pagoda, Kho Hong, Hat Yai - located hilltop, surrounded by trees & greeneries, best time to visit is during the evening

6) Phra Mahathat Chedi Traiphop Traimongkhon (Stainless Steel Pagoda) - built in 2006, unusual, contemporary Buddhist place of worship with a conical shape made of open-work metal, the only chedi in the world made of stainless steel
7) Circular Chambers, Ground Level, Stainless Steel Pagoda - each circular has one or 2 Buddhist deities & framed pictures on the wall.

8) Lunch in McDonald, Lee Garden Plaza & Hotel, Hat Yai - samurai burger (pork) 105bht (Rm13.65)
9) Dinner in a street food stall opposite Lee Garden Plaza & Hotel, Hat Yai, braised pork leg rice 60bht (Rm7.80)
10) Bye bye Hat Yai, boarding a sleeper train No 32 from Hat Yai Junction (ETD17.45) > Hua Hin (ETA07.00), upper bed 929bht(Rm121), lower bed 1029 (Rm134), airconditioned, cosy seat & comfortable bed, clean toilet facilities, 1 hr of train delay for this journey but I slept well!
