Day 9 - Monday Nov 28 2022 - my 4th day in Bangkok, today focusing our group's visit mainly to Lumpini Park, Pratunam Market, MBK Center & Terminal 21 Asok Mall in downtown Bangkok. Public transport cost incurred for bus 25bht & BTS skytrain 112bht totalled 137bht (Rm17.80)

1) A panoramic view of Bangkok city as viewed from the 16th floor of Bangkok City Hotel in Petchathewi, Bangkok, Thailand - good weather today, clear blue sky but it was raining cats & dogs during the mid-day which restricted our group's movement for over an hour ! 

2) My hotel buffet breakfast (complimentary) - I enjoyed eating the pork porridge, cappuccino & orange drink, cherry tomatoes & sliced pineapple, fried rice & noodles, vegetables & waffles etc. 

3) Bus ride (20bht=Rm2.60) from Petchathewi to Lumpini Park, Bangkok, Thailand 

4) Lumpini Park, Bangkok, Thailand - a 360 rai park in Bangkok, offers open public space, trees & playgrounds, an artificial lake, an ideal place for morning walks, jogging & family outing. 

5) Bus ride (20bht) from Lumpini Park > Pratunam / Baiyoke Market, Bangkok, Thailand & the surrounding 

6) Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) in Pratunam Market (Thailand largest clothing market), Pratunam Mall, Baiyoke Gallery (a new fashion arena in Bangkok) & Baiyoke Sky Hotel (88 storey, Thailand tallest & most scenic hotel in Bangkok, has a revolving roof deck, within walking distance from Ratchaprapop BTS station, the market was very crowded at the time of our group's visit around 11.30)

10) BTS skytrain ride from Petchathewi station to Asok to visit Terminal 21 Mall 

Terminal 21 Asok Mall brings the dream of travelling the world to downtown Bangkok, with its unique concept that places several world famous cities under one roof. This series of Terminal 21 Mall in Asok was opened in Oct 2011, followed by Korat (Dec 2016), Pattaya (Oct 2018) & the most recent one in Rama 3 Road, Bangkok (Oct 2022) which I also visited in the following day !

9) Upon arrival at the Petchathewi BTS station, both my wife & myself had a wan tan noodle soup (60bht=Rm7.80) as our dinner at a street food stall in front of the BTS station before retiring for bed in our cosy hotel located 400m from the Petchatewi BTS station.
