Day 4 Sunday Sept 1 2024 (Part 1) - after a buffet breakfast, our tour group had approx 3 hours of free & easy time in Ordos Grassland (prior to the watching of the Nadam Horse Folk show starting 11.30); using the free hours, I joined 4 of my tour members for a grass skiing sport followed by a leisure stroll in the Ordos Grassland compound & putting on a traditional Mongolian dress together with my wife for photo taking - leaving behind a fond memory for this probably once in a life time Inner Mongolia visit in Aug / Sept 2024 ! In the afternoon, our tour group visited the Junwang Mansion & Ordos Cultural & Industrial Park (not in Confidence itinerary program ? An extra add on to our package tour, like to take this opportunity to thank Confidence for taking the tour group to this touristy place in Ordos)
1) My early morning walk (06.30 > 7.00) nearby the Mongolian Yurt, Ordos Grassland, Inner Mongolia
2) Hotel buffet breakfast (No 3), Ordos Grassland, Inner Mongolia.
3) Free & easy activities for tour members (after breakfast) in Ordos Grassland prior to attending the thrilling & exciting Nadam Horse Folk Show (11.30) which was cancelled last minute due to a wet weather on yesterday afternoon (show supposed to start at 17.00)
4) Orbital Grass Skiing - together with 4 of the tour members, I had an experience of this fun-filled grass skiing in Ordos Grassland, my 1st trial ......
5) Mongolian Traditional Dressing Experience - it's show time, each of our tour members put on the best dressed traditional Mongolian costume for a photography session in Ordos Grassland, Inner Mongolia !
6) Nadam Horse Folk Show, Ordos Grassland, Inner Mongolia - the main highlight of our tour group visit to this resort, the young performers were highly skillful in conducting the various acrobatic acts riding on the horses & the drama play script / story in 4-5 chapters was very entertaining & interesting to watch !
7) After the Equestrian Performance show, our group took a walk back to our Mongolian yurt hotel room for a hotel check out .... time to say bye bye to our enjoyable stay in Ordos Grassland, Inner Mongolia ! Move on, KM as I am looking forward to visit the Whistling Dune Bay in a dessert resort of Ordos comes tomorrow ! The best is yet to come !
