My 1st Overnight Outstation Trip in 2021

Total Expenses incurred (3 days 2 nights, a group of 4): Rm180 (petrol) + Rm36 (highway toll) + Rm95 x 2 hotel rooms (twin sharing) x 2 nights + Food (Rm200) = Rm796 (US$187) or Rm199 (US$47) per pax; total distance covered is approx 850km for the entire trip.

Travel itinerary: Subang Jaya, Selangor >  Muar, Johor > Yong Peng > Kluang > Ayer Hitam > Kluang > Subang Jaya, Selangor, total distance covered is approx 850km; the distance from Taman Equine (Serdang), Selangor > Muar, Johor is approx 187km; my past visits to these quint little towns in coastal & central Johor (off the North-South Highway) were merely a brief stopover for lunch or just passing by hence this outstation trip to visit the various touristy places which I yearn to see in my golden years ! My last Cuti Cuti Malaysia outstation trip to Johor (Kulai, Johor Baru & Kota Tinggi) was in Dec 2019 !

Hotel accommodation (2 nights) in Kluang Riverview Hotel; room tariff Rm95 (US$22.30 twin sharing) per night, ample parking on the 4th floor, within walking distance to Kluang Parade, Street Art Alley & established restaurants in downtown Kluang, hotel lifts were not functioning (due to burst pipes), hence guests were asked to park their cars on the 4th floor and walked one floor down via the staircase to our hotel room located on the 3rd floor ! A little inconvenience especially for senior citizens but overall a pleasant stay !
