" My Cuti Cuti (Vacation) Malaysia & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) free & easy visit (3 days 2 nights) with my wife together with my brother Weng & sister Mei to Muar, Kluang, Yong Peng, Simpang Rengam, Ayer Hitam (Johor) & Melaka, travelling by own vehicle (using Waze), my No 21 outdoor trip after a National Lockdown (Movement Control Order / Emergency) imposed by the Malaysian Government on May 5 2021 due to a spike in Covid-19 cases, a National Vaccination Campaign is currently being implemented by the Malaysian Government (Phase 1 started in Feb 2021), as at Dec 8 2021, a total of 23.7 million people or 97.1% of the adult population in Malaysia have completed their Covid-19 vaccination, Selangor (my home state) is now under the National Recovery Plan Phase 4 (NRP4) starting from Monday Oct 11 2021 hence the Malaysian Government has eased restrictions allowing individuals with vaccination certificate or card for inter-state travels, dine-in restaurants, hotel accommodations & homestays, outdoor activities etc "

| My 1st Overnight Outstation Trip in 2021 |
Total Expenses incurred (3 days 2 nights, a group of 4): Rm180 (petrol) + Rm36 (highway toll) + Rm95 x 2 hotel rooms (twin sharing) x 2 nights + Food (Rm200) = Rm796 (US$187) or Rm199 (US$47) per pax; total distance covered is approx 850km for the entire trip.
Travel itinerary: Subang Jaya, Selangor > Muar, Johor > Yong Peng > Kluang > Ayer Hitam > Kluang > Subang Jaya, Selangor, total distance covered is approx 850km; the distance from Taman Equine (Serdang), Selangor > Muar, Johor is approx 187km; my past visits to these quint little towns in coastal & central Johor (off the North-South Highway) were merely a brief stopover for lunch or just passing by hence this outstation trip to visit the various touristy places which I yearn to see in my golden years ! My last Cuti Cuti Malaysia outstation trip to Johor (Kulai, Johor Baru & Kota Tinggi) was in Dec 2019 !
