Return journey, so near yet so far - stranded in Shah Alam, Selangor after dropping sister Mei (Taman Equine, Serdang) & my wife (Subang Jaya) at around 16.00 (Saturday, Dec 18 2021) & lastly, after dropping brother Weng in Shah Alam, I was unable to return home as all the alternative roads to Subang Jaya (my home place) were flooded & not passable to traffic; I had to put up a night in brother Weng's house in Shah Alam & returned home on the following day (Sunday Dec 19 2021) at around 09.30; most of the low lying suburban areas in Klang Valley, Selangor (my home state) were heavily flooded (1 to 2 metre high), the worst hit was Taman Sri Muda township ! It had been raining continuously in Selangor for the past 2 to 3 days during our outstation visit to Johor (thank god there was no major flooding in Johor area but drizzling most of the evening in Kluang) without realising a Tropical Depression (unprecedented) has set in .... my sympathy to all the flood victims & the misery they have to go through during this difficult period ....
