Day 5 Monday Oct 14 2024 (Tianjin) Part 2 - focusing my visit to Jinwan Square, Century Clock, Jie Fang Bridge, St Joseph Cathedral & an evening group's visit to Italian Style Area & 66 Riverside Pedestrian Street.
1) Walkabout from Tianjin Railway Station > Century Clock > Jie Fang Bridge / Jinwan Square / Haihe River - exploratory visit. Metro train ride from Yingkoudao (near our hotel) > Tianjin Station
2) Century Clock, Tianjin - a popular landmark in Tianjin, made of metal (170 tons), 40m high 14.6m in diameter & a base area of 74.4 sq meters.
3) Jinwan Sqaure, Tianjin - located in the financial street district of Jiefang Raod, Heping District, faces the Haihe River in front, Tianjin Station in the north, Jiefang Bridge & Chifeng Bridge on each side.
4) Jie Fang Bridge, Tianjin - American designed, French built drawbridge completed in 1927.

5) Small Eat - lunch in a local restaurant in a shopping mall nearby our hotel, savoured a hot pot of fish fillets + vegetable + 2 rice = Rmb44 = Rm26.50 (US$6.10)
6) Walkabout in downtown Tianjin nearby our hotel area after a lunch.
7) St Joseph Cathedral Catholic Church, Tianjin - within walking distance (500m) from our hotel, a Roman Catholic church, completed in 1916, one of Tianjin protected relics, located in the CBD & the former French Concession of Tianjin.
8) Commercial Business District of Tianjin nearby our hotel
9) Metro train ride from Yingkoudao > Jiangguodao Station to visit Tianjin Italian Style Tourist Area in the late afternoon till evening.
10) Evening walk from Tianjin Italian Style Area > Tianjin City Waterfront > 66 Riverside Pedestrian Street
11) 66 Riverside Shopping Mall
12) Small Eat - dinner in a newly opened Cantonese style roasted pork restaurant nearby 66 Riverside; savoured a plate of braised pork rice (Rmb16) & roasted duck rice (Rmb16 = Rm9.60 = US$2,20)
13) 66 Riverside Pedestrian Street - a great place for window shopping especially after an evening meal !
