Day 4 Sunday Oct 13 2024 (Tianjin) Part 2 - this post focused on my group's visit to Tianjin Ancient Culture Street (Culture Town, Lion Alley Hutong, Ancient Culture Street Pier, Antique City, Mazu Temple, Opera Stage Square & Waterside Platform) & Tianjin Eye by Night !
1) Walkabout the CBD nearby our hotel in downtown Tianjin (familiarisation visit)
2) Guwenhua Jie (Tianjin Ancient Culture Street) - a pedestrian pathway complex dotted with temple gates & kiosks on the west bank of the Hai River in Tianjin. The Nankai District area is classified as AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration.

3) Ancient Culture Street Pier & Waterside Platform, Tianjin - a panoramic view of Tianjin city & Jie Fang Bridge as viewed from the pier.
4) The start of my evening & riverside walk from Jingang Bridge > Tianjin Eye
5) Tianjin Eye by Night - a 120 meter tall giant Ferris Wheel built above the Yongle Bridge over the Hai River in Tianjin, opened to the public on April 2008.
5) Small Eat - dinner in a Food Court of a shopping mall nearby our hotel - savoured a steamed pot of braised chilli chicken fillets + Rice Rmb35.90 = Rm21.90 (US$5.05).
