After my Johor Bahru (Malaysia) & Batam, Riau Islands (Indonesia) visit in July 28 > August 1 2024, my next dream destination in my bucket list is Pulau Perhentian, Terengganu located off the East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia. The decision of my first time visit to Pulau Perhentian, Terengganu was made in a haste ! A big thank you to my travel buddy, KF Wong who was able to join me for this "short & sweet" staycation visit to Kuala Besut / Perhentian island, Terengganu, approx 460km from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur ! Wary of the start of the Northeast monsoon season bringing heavy rain to the East-coast region of Peninsula Malaysia from November > March each year (whereas the south-west states of Peninsula Malaysia are now experiencing the south-west monsoon season starting from April > Oct) & my pending package tour to Inner Mongolia, China in late August / early Sept 2024 (together with my wife & two travel buddies) & my wife's proposed free & easy visit to Beijing & Hebei province in mid-October 2024, also in the pipeline is KF's proposed visit to southern India in mid Nov 2024. Hence my swift decision to go ahead in visiting this dream destination in my home country, Malaysia ! My next bucket list of visit in my home country are Pulau Redang (Terengganu) & Semporna (Tawau) on the island of Borneo in the state of Sabah, East Malaysia - Semporna is the gateway to Tun Sakaran Park, a group of 8 islands with dive sites .... so KM, just move on & keep dreaming !
