D-15 Sunday Aug 23 2026 (Jiadengyu & Burqin) - a very casual day after our 3 nights stay in Jiadengyu as our long distance bus departs at 15.30 (only one daily service) from Jiadengyu Kanas Visitor Service Centre to Burqin (approx 150km). Upon arrival & after a dinner, I had an evening stroll with my travel buddy in Burqin Night Market - thus ending my 2nd visit to Burqin & Kanas National Geopark since May 2006, a lapse of 20 years !
Public Transport: 1 long distance bus ride (CNY35, Jiadengyu > Burqin)

1) Kanas Perfect Hotel, Jiadenyu Dining Plaza, Night Market & the surrounding - my 4th day (final) before taking a long distance bus departing 15,30 from Jiadengyu Kanas Visitor Centre > Burqin for a transit night stay before heading to Karamay.
2) Scenic mountain landscape as viewed from the Jiadengyu Dining Plaza during the morning.
3) Bronze statutes of Mongol warriors, near Jiadengyu Dining Plaza, Xinjiang
4) Caravan Homestay Park, Jiadengyu Dining Plaza - The Sky and Cloud and Mountain and Water, wonder what is the room rate per night ?
5) Hotel check-out (11.30) & took a free shuttle bus from a bus stop nearby our hotel to Jiadengyu Kanas Visitor Service Centre to board a long distance bus departing 15.30 to Burqin. The bus terminal in front of the Jiadengyu Kanas Visitor Centre has daily public bus / passenger van services to nearby county towns ie Hemu, Burqin, Beitun etc
6) One for the album - our long distance bus departing 15.30 to Burqin (only one service daily).
7) Countryside landscape as viewed from the bus's windows from Jiadengyu > Burqin.
8) My DIY dinner - bitter gourd / canned black sauce fish noodle eaten in our hotel.
9) Bought 3 bottles of wild & farm-produced honey (CNY90) from Burqin Night Market
10) My travel buddy bought 2 bottles of branded Kanas/Hemu honey from a minimarket in Kanas Jiadengyu Service Center (CNY50 x 2)
11) Evening stroll in Burqin Night Market - beef pies smell good, live dog fish must be fresh but pricey (CNY180 = Rm108 per kg) & looks gorgeous to eat, premier black wild honey on sales, tempting Xinjiang mutton rice ..... go for it especially for gluttons & foodies, also get ready a US$100 note if you are after a seafood style dinner !
